Looking out from my office window this morning and seeing the bright sunshine and lush green lawn and trees, I am feeling grateful. I turn back to my office and already entertaining a steady parade of attorneys and assistants, and again I am struck with gratitude. I have spent decades building a law firm that reflects my own passion for the law, for justice and for serving people who are most in need – and I can see that I have been successful. In just the past few weeks we have won successful verdicts for the estate of an elderly man who was killed by a nursing home, a man made paraplegic by medical malpractice, and a baby burned by a hospital. In every case the defendant corporations refused to settle, banking on the prejudice against lawsuits and desperation of their victims. I am proud of the attorneys I work with in those cases and countless others, who make this job and this world a better place.
So… once more to the breach, dear friends, once more to the breach.
And that’s why the masses love you Geoff!!
WHEN R YOU RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT?BECAUSE THE ECONOMY REALLY NEEDS YOU SERIOUSLY. ALL THE UNREALISTIC LAWS THAT OBAMA IS PASSING IS HELPIN TO DESTROY THE ECONOMY!!I FEEL THAT IF YOU WERE AT LEAST IN THE WHITE HOUSE THEY WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LISTEN THEN!!!! WE NEED MORE LIKE YOU AND YOUR GREAT ATTORNEYS!!PLEASE KEEP UP THE STUPENDOUS JOB!!WITHOUT U THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE NO DOUBT!
TO CORRECT THE LAST SENTENCE.”WITHOUT YOU THE WORLD WOULDN’T BE A BETTER PLACE!!!!
“In just the past few weeks we have won successful verdicts for the estate of an elderly man who was killed by a nursing home, a man made paraplegic by medical malpractice, and a baby burned by a hospital. ”
Jeez, how does nonsense like that even happen?? Not that I’m naive enough to think it doesn’t, but still… Where do they dig up these doctors?
“In every case the defendant corporations refused to settle, banking on the prejudice against lawsuits and desperation of their victims.”
Maybe if filing frivolous lawsuits wasn’t an Olympic sport in America then defendants would take more seriously the important lawsuits you describe. Or not. Who knows?

At least they were able to get a lawyer to take their cases which were good. My daughter contacted lawyers who told her she does not have a case when she first realized due to a doctors decision of exclusion she is now disabled. As her mental capacities improved and after she went through all her hospital records, she came upon a discovery of malpractice and presented her case to lawyers again. They told it looks like she has a good case. Then a month later they call and say her case is too difficult and are unable to help her. The Michigan Statute of Limitations
has run out and discovery for malpractice has now been shorted so much that no lawyer will take her case. She has 5 degrees in the veterinary field and has tried to explain that her case is not that difficult. The problem is the time limitations are too short for patients with neurological disorders, etc. They are unable to respond quickly, and since extremely intelligent feel only they can present their case (not mother). Help what do I do now. Only one doctor has encouraged her to not give up (Dr. Younce) and in November the best doctor in Michigan in Lansing Dr. Lauder will try and diagnose the further damage results and if she will ever return to the quality of life she once had. I told her to call Atty. Fieger but she said she can no longer fight the system and reliving the last two years through her medical records has emotionally taken its toll on her. It is all too painful. Thank God for Atty. Fieger.
