I find it disgusting how America demonizes sex more than violence. Case in point, it seems that in a lot of areas it’s much easier to get a gun than to get porn. How about that woman who got caught in a sting operation in Alabama for selling sex toys? Or how about how easily the Columbine kids got there guns.
I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to NYC (to go to college) in Fall 1999. When I was getting ready to go, people were suggesting that I take a gun with me. I said, “Why the hell would I want to do that? What do I need a gun for?” Oh… right! PROTECTION! I like Michael Moore’s Bowling for Columbine about gun control and the episode of The Simpsons which also addressed that issue quite well.
